We’re now on the downstretch of March and we have finally reached the week where it’s the kouhais turn to "graduate" from fanboy-trainees to idols. On Wednesday, March 29, UPROAR!! will be celebrating their first year anniversary from its foundation to their adventures all the way to this day. Congratulations to Yatogami Fuma, Utsugi Uyu, Hizaki Gamma, and Minase Rio for all their accomplishments and finally making their dreams come true!
And since this week is UPROAR!! Week, this blog post will just be about UPROAR!! in general. The other boys can wait on the next blog… maybe this weekend or something.
So…. what do these boys have in store for us to make this week the banger week for their unit? Let’s see the planned schedule, shall we?
Original Solo Songs
Yeeaaahh buddy~ we’ve got their first unit song, Prologue, and now the boys will be releasing their first original solo songs per member! Let’s embed the upcoming MVs here, shall we?
Yatogami Fuma – "about you"
The first time I got to know Fuma was during the first few weeks of me starting off the Holostars wormhole through the TEMPUS boys. Then again, I got to know the JP side of Holostars through the TEMPUS boys. Anyway.
When I started watching some old clips and VODs of Fuma during the time I was learning more about UPROAR, and the first thing I learned about him, aside from his lore,1 is that he’s a rapper. I heard that Aruran is the rapper of G1-3, but Fuma was a straight-up rapper, releasing two original rap tracks and mans just be spittin’ fire you know? The way he spat them words sounded very natural too.
But it wasn’t his rapping skills that got me to consider him as my nioshi2 of UPROAR. It was his personality and sense of humor, plus his ability and intent to reach out to his fans in three languages3 that got me attracted to him. And of course, he’s one of the most cracked FPS gamers in the entire HOLOSTARS group, with
But he’s also got the voice for singing too, and that’s double the damage too. I’m curious what his solo song is like.
It’s actually going to be released in about four hours as of this writing, so let’s all look forward to it!
Utsugi Uyu – メンヘラ▼パニック (Menhera Panikku / Lunatic Panic)
I feel like of all the JP side of HOLOSTARS that Uyu is still a mystery to me. Well, he’s a phantom thief who robs every single beautiful thing he sets his eyes upon, so it’s really hard for me to catch him on stream. Jokes aside, what tidbits I knew about him is that he is a flamboyant being4 and that when it comes to gaming, he is somewhat of a psycho. Not toxic… just psycho. Anyway.
The name of his upcoming solo single is a bit worrying for me. The term menhera is a derogatory slang for a person who is mentally disturbed or simply a lunatic. My Lunatic Panic translation of the title just makes a lot of sense.
His solo single premieres on Tuesday, so let’s look forward to it!
Hizaki Gamma – ハイパーパリピラプソディ (Haipa Paripi Rapusodi / Hyper Party People Rhapsody)
The title of his upcoming solo single is no surprise. Gamma, as we know, is a talented manga artist by day, hyper party animal by night in continuous search of awesome, and HOLOSTARS’ #1 gaslighter. Anyway~
His solo single will be out on Wednesday, the day of UPROAR’s first anniversary. Don’t miss it so we can all party along with Gamma while we go crazy listening to his song!
Also, good luck to him and his team on VSaikyou too!
Minase Rio – Come Over
This ghost dude… bro’s gotta be the most beautiful character I’ve ever seen. He may be a ghost that… not everyone can see, but damn… he’s a straight-up ikemen on all sides! He’s Minase Rio, the singing ghost of HOLOSTARS~ YEEAAAH!!!
And of course, he’s super sugary sweet too… so sweet to the TEMPUS boys and to his fellow genmates and to his senpais… I mean who wouldn’t like him? Those who dare hate on this guy can just seethe and drink copium cuz they’ll never be as beautiful and as kind and as lowkey badass as him.
For those who have fallen deep into his charms for sure have been thrown off by his unexpected ayo?! moments. As someone who belongs in a family that have mostly males, the sweet and kind types are the most dangerous types in my opinion, and Rio is definitely one of them. You have been warned.
His solo single will be released this Thursday.
First Anniversary Streams
In addition to the solo singles, the boys also have planned streams to celebrate their first anniversary.
Yatogami Fuma – Capturing ___ for 10 million yen!
I dunno what Fuma’s up to, but those sweet zeroes in that 10 million yen has gotta be something risky. Running an errand service has been tough for our ayakashi yokai bro, but it’s sad that he gets scammed all the time during his days in the Stars Collection anime series, doing all these errands for some high amount of sum, only to end up with nothing at all.
Please let this poor guy get his 10 million yen…
Utsugi Uyu – First Debut Watchalong
Uyu is going to do a self-reflection and review of himself when he first made his debut. He’s inviting everyone to come watch along with him and then witness the things that are different now compared to who he was back then. I think it’s an awesome way of celebrating our first anniversary as a member of HOLOSTARS, don’t you think?
If only this wasn’t on a weekday, I would love to watch along with him and witness how he has become now compared to his first day!
Hizaki Gamma – An art piece of his seniors and juniors who made an impact of his career
What a beautiful way to celebrate — by having a special art stream of the people who made an impact on his career since his debut! Gamma had always been one of the most talented and creative talents I’ve seen — a hyper party animal with a heart of gold! I’ve always enjoyed all his art pieces and I can’t wait to see the finished piece!
And also, let’s have a chat with him too while he draws that magical piece too!
Minase Rio – I’ve invited everyone to sing with me for my first year anniversary
When Rio meant everyone, he really did mean everyone. Man’s been having a social life by meeting many talents within HoloPro and livers outside HoloPro, all his seniors, his genmates, his juniors, and everyone else! It’ll definintely be a delighful treat of beautiful singing and glorious music! We love collabs so much and Rio’s been really good in hosting collabs and this has got to be his biggest one yet!
Time to smile and sway along with all our favorite oshis singing with the ghost much friendlier than Casper~ well, Rio is my oshi too.
UPROAR!! 3D Super Live – "BLAST OUT!!"
This Friday, March 31st, will be UPROAR’s 1st Anniversary Concert to close out their anniversary week. Man, these boys have worked so hard to this day, plus they’ve got the biggest luck in debuting their 3D models after only a little over six months of their run. Man, it’s gonna be a good happenin’ time y’all~
Don’t miss it and get hyped! If you can’t make it, the VOD will be there!
