Helloooo March~!

Happy Miyabi!

We are now at the third month of 2023, folks! It’s MARCH!!

And when it’s March, it also means that we are nearing the Spring season!

And Spring season means sunny skies, gentle breezes, green trees, green grass, and flowers in full blossom!

And when we have flowers in full blossom, we also have our ever-blooming daisenpai who is celebrating his 18th (Season 4) birthday~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIYABI-KUN~!! お誕生日おめでとう〜!!

Miyabi with Open Arms

As of this writing, it’s still March 3rd in Japan, therefore, I still don’t have any info about this year’s birthday merch that will soon be on sale at the HoloPro Shop sometime later today. He will be having his birthday stream special – a vlog of his trip to Yokohama. This should be a fun and exciting stream!

You can hang out here while you wait:

Once I get the info about the birthday merch probably tomorrow, I’ll add it at the sidebar to your right.

For now, let’s all greet Miyabi a Happy Birthday on Twitter all of your well-wishes for him and may he always be blessed everyday as he continues on with life while still young… and forever… eighteen…

TEMPUS APEX ARC BEGINS….?

Even though I have been a Tempura for a little over six months now, there’s still yet a lot to learn about the vtuber scene and I’m really glad that I’m learning bit by bit along with the Tempus boys. Especially in the Japanese vtuber scene, custom tourneys of co-op games like Apex Legends are a huge thing over there. You as a vtuber participate in any of these custom tourneys, you get your well-deserved, hard-earned street cred. And when you do earn them street creds, there will be invitations to compete in other custom tourneys.

For some of us, we’ve already gotten the taste of how a custom Apex tourney was like early on, with Axel being part of last year’s Shibuya HAL Custom with the senpais, Astel and Fuma, sometime during the late summer-early fall. And then for the rest of us, myself included, we witnessed Axel and Altare taking on the Shusetsu Kohaku Cup along with their fellow man rpr.

THE RETURN OF REST IN PING @ SHIBUYA HAL CUSTOM

The REST IN PING boys are back next week as a participating team at the Shibuya HAL Custom tourney! Axel already had the experience with this particular custom with Astel and Fuma before, and now it’s his turn again with his guild leader Altare and main man rpr. 2nd Placer from Kohaku Cup is now taking on the ShibuHAL Custom! LET’S GOOO~!!!!

REST IN PING

The boys got pretty lucky that they did so well at the KohaCup last year despite of the bad pings1 and I do hope that they get that luck again with the ShibuHAL Custom. The tourney will take place next weekend, so for the time being, we’ll be expecting Apex practice streams in preparation for next weekend.

Speaking of REST IN PING, a lot of my Altventurer/Cultare peeps are on a I miss Leader so much… period because Altare took a long break to recover from his illness. If Axel already announced about REST IN PING and ShibuHAL Custom, this meant that Altare will eventually be back.

For some wondering why I’m not in that period, it’s mainly because I get myself busy with other things and not dwell on missing someone. Plus, I know he will return, so personally, there’s no point of me being sad about his absence. He’ll probably say the same thing if he were in my shoes too.

And then…

INVITATION TO VSAIKYOU

From what I’ve heard, VSAIKYOU is the BIG BIG BEEEEEEG APEX TOURNEY that the Japanese VTuber scene get really hyped about! Axel had been mentioning a few times before that one of his goals as a Holostar is to particpate in the VSaikyou Apex Tournament. The only thing about VSaikyou is that it’s an invitation-only event, so for many who wants to participate will be stuck on dreaming and hoping for an invitation.

And today, it finally happened. Axel has received an invitation to VSaikyou!

I’m still new to all these tourneys and their regulations, but Axel pretty much explained a few hurdles he would have to jump over as part of his preparation for VSaikyou. This major hurdle right now is to find two new members for his team. March just started and VSaikyou starts on April, so he’s got at least one month to assemble a team and make their participation official.

Eventually, Axel will update us when he’s finally crossed over that hurdle.

That’s it from me, homies. Till next time!

  1. Since all three of them back then are located outside Japan, the ping can get laggy for them when they play in a server that’s not located in their own area… []
