HOOOO~WEEEEE! It’s THE WEEKEND!

Sliced Bread for Newbies - Fuma, Aruran, Izuru

We got a hot weekend coming up for our boys and the rest of HoloPro. Loooots!!

Generally, you can get all the news and updates about HOLOSTARS and HoloPro in general by following their Twitter accounts and even follow some like-minded fellow Starlights1, Tempuras, Starpuras, you know… Anyway, let’s begin!

KUREIJI ARCADE (APEX LEGENDS CUSTOM TOURNAMENT)

Kureiji Arcade - Apex Legends Custom

It’s here and it’s only a few hours away as of this writing— the Kureiji Arcade Apex Legends Custom event!

Hosted by Hololive ID Gen 2’s crazy zombie homegirl Kureiji Ollie, her dreams of hosting her own custom Apex Legends with all of her fellow Holo homies has finally come to reality! If you would like to watch, you can do so in two screens.

The first screen will take place at 2:00 a.m. PST and will only feature Hololive.

The second screen will feature the boys and the mixed team events.

Other participants will also be streaming the events from their points of view, so check out their Twitter accounts to see if they will be streaming.

Speaking of mixed teams, which one will you be rooting for? Here are the teams (both Hololive and Holostars):

Mixed Teams Race

Since this will be the first time (?) that HoloPro would hold such an event, it’s hard to make a guess which one of these teams will win. Many of them haven’t even met each other yet, so this will be a good opportunity for the HoloPro talents to start mingling with each other and make some connections. We can finally witness some family building through this event and we all thank Ollie for hosting this grand event!

Let’s all hope and pray for a successful run of the Kureiji Arcade and hoping for more huge collaboration events such as this in the future!

STARS COLLECTION ANIME: "SLICED BREAD FOR NEWBIES"

Every Fridays (JST), a new anime short of the Stars Collection2 is released on the Holostars official YouTube channel, where everyone can watch it as is or with subtitles3. For today’s episode, we have Sliced Bread for Newbies starring Kanade Izuru, Arurandeisu, and Yatogami Fuma.

Once upon a time, a very young Adrianne stayed at a student housing complex when she attended university. She misplaced her wallet that she panicked and struggled to find food. She began to hypnotize and brainwash herself into thinking that the Cheerios cereal is the best thing in the world and that she can survive a whole day or two by eating Cheerios. Man, that was a struggle.

Luckily, it turned out that I didn’t misplace my wallet those years ago. I left it on the side table of my bed right under the lamp and forgot to put it in my backpack. Daaaang…

In this episode, Izuru was me during my good ol’ college days. Except in this case, it’s sliced bread. The eco-conscious, bug-eating (former) college student even got the skills to write a song and sing about the greatness of sliced bread all day, every day that made my Cheerios-all-day memories look like a joke LOL.

Not gonna lie, but Izuru (as well as Fuma) looked really adorbs in this anime. Aruran is still the same warm and loving Arupapa, even though he’s Arubro/Arunii now.

One day, I’ll blog more about my Holostar oshis. It’s just way too hard to choose just one, honestly. That includes Izuru and Fuma. Both of them are in my oshis list too.

I mean, look at these homeboys here~ gotta love them!

Holoplus

The HoloPro Twitter (Japanese) had just announced that an upcoming brand-new messaging app called Holoplus will be launching sometime this spring. This app would be something similar like Twitter (maybe?), but we now have a chance to message all our favorite oshis directly, but that’s just a gist of it. We’ll learn more about its features and concepts once launching date is near!

Looking forward to this brand-new project!

That’s it from me, homies! I may write more tomorrow (PST)!

  1. I recently learned that the official Holostars fan name is Horustamin (ホロスタ民), translated as Holostars Folk. I still like Starlight better imo… []
  2. or "StaKore" for short… []
  3. English, Indonesian, Spanish, or even Japanese for the folks studying the language… []
