It’s APRIL! OMG~! This blog post is my post-April Fools Day entry. The weekend became very busy for me (irl) because of two things: Holy Week1 and my mom flew overseas last night. Mainly the latter because I had to help her pack and check the paperwork and stuff. Yep.
But April Fools Day on both time zones was very eventful. The boys have worked their thing to make people laugh, and for a good reason, we all need to laugh, if not everyday. Rather than writing about every single detail, I’ll just share a video compilation (Japanese only, but you get the idea…) of what the boys did last Saturday:
To summarize:
- Ouka (Oga’s gender-bent self) returned to streaming.
- Ritsuko (Rikka’s gender-bent self) also returned to streaming.
- Aruran presenting "A-chan"2 the masked version of his New Year’s Day outfit on 3D that he made himself.
- TEMPUS HQ boys debuting TEMPUS Gen 3, known as Animala Familia
- TEMPUS VG boys streaming their usual streams imitating each other and doing a watchalong of the Animala Familia unit.
- "YATTA!" cover by the TEMPANTSU OGs (not an April Fools joke)
- TEMPANTSU boxers "one size only" available on sale (not an April Fools joke)
Now that we got that out of the way, I do want to talk about the fresh swag that are now open for pre-orders. Why? Because they’re swag!
UPROAR!! 1st Anniversary
Were you able to watch all of UPROAR’s week-long streams including their 1st Anniversary 3D concert last week? You can always watch them on their YouTube channels, as well as the Holotars official channel. With all the UPROAR!! hype last week, they also gave us some fresh merch to commemorate their 1-year anniversary.
On the sidebar to your right, you’ll see links to purchase their debut album, PROLOGUE, containing their unit song, Prologue, as well as the four individual solos and instrumentals. There’s a limited edition with a special freebie and the stand-alone version. TEMPANTSU April Fools Day 2023 (and it’s REAL!!)
Let’s rewind back in September 2022, where the Tempus boys had their second group collab with their StarsJP senpais – 2 from G1-3 (Astel Leda, Kageyama Shien) and 2 from UPROAR (Hizaki Gamma, Minase Rio), on a versus game of Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D4). Here’s a clip from Altare’s channel a quick run-through of what happened:
And when Tempus lost, the name Tempantsu came about and trended on Twitter, with the Tempus boys (and later on the StarsJP boys) began posting photos of their pantsu (underwear) on Twitter for everyone to see.
Fast-forward to late March 2023, where we have a repeat of the Tempantsu collab with the VG boys. Well, you can guess who won…
And then right on April Fools Day, the Tempantsu Arc still continues. We now have this sweet and hilarious cover of an old classic: YATTA! by the comedy group Happa-tai (Green Leaves):
… and lastly, the Tempus bois even made a certain StarsJP senpai’s4 dream merch come true by dropping actual pantsu on sale at the HoloPro Shop. You can pre-order them now until May 8 – one size (maybe) fits many, and there are boxers for dudes and boxers for the dudettes!

Honestly, I haven’t been watching as much streams of the Winning Son, namely because of time zones. I mostly resort to clips of him and his forever zatsus, gaming, and his antics with Kagura Mea on their Roberu NightMea collabs when I do get the time. But dropping merch based on the notable thumbnails he uses for his streams? Genius!
We get a daily calendar that features all his notable thumbnails and a t-shirt that says Let’s chat!5. You can buy them individually or both of them as a set and you get a special handwritten message from the Winning Son himself!

hololiveMeet 2023 Ambassadors
For those who are new, what the heck is hololiveMeet?
hololiveMeet is a division of HoloPro where they cover many of their talents’ activities from meet and greets, stage concerts, convention events, and other types of collaborations — where fans can have a chance to meet their favorite HoloPro talents face to face!
For 2023, Yukoku Roberu and Regis Altare have been chosen as this year’s ambassadors, representing Holostars JP and Holostars EN. They will be joining hololive JP’s Sakura Miko, hololive ID’s Kureiji Ollie, and hololive EN’s iRys. This would mean that in the future, some of these ambassadors will be present in upcoming events for this year.
For now, we have Anime Boston and MomoCon coming up (dates on the left sidebar). Be sure to take this chance to meet your favorite talents when you can.
